David Heti celebrates the release of his comedy album, It was ok, at Grumpy’s — see more about that here. The evening will feature stand-up and music by Chris Durning. The usual Tuesday night open mic will take place after the festivities. 1242 Bishop, 8:15 p.m., free

The New Moon Psychedelic Charade returns, with live music by NooM, Zu Zu’s Petals, Walls Are Blonde, Eric Buchel and DJs Dali Dalma, Wawaron and DJ Vivicus Viridian, plus “art activities, LED fire-spinning and a crystal wand vendor.” Kiss Lounge (6246 St-Laurent), 9:30 p.m., $5 before 11 p.m./$8

Deadly Mardi resident DJs Phil Clem and Napoléon showcase local bands affiliated with Analogue Addiciton productions — see the list here. Rockette (4479 St-Denis), 10 p.m., free
