Galerie Espace hosts the vernissage for Never Less Than Marvelous, a show of new works on paper by artist/musician couple Oily Chi and Coco Khan. 4844 St-Laurent, 5 p.m.

Join Montreal-based, Sobey Art Award-shortlisted artist Jon Rafman in conversation with curator Mark Lanctôt at the MAC in conjunction with the recently opened exhibition of Rafman’s work. Montreal rapper Hua Li and Gloze launches a new EP, Za Zhong, on Art Not Love Record. The EP is described as “cloudy day party tracks, break-up anthems and coy disses.” Openers are Marshia Celina and Zyhkeira. 4602 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $10 (includes hug from Hua Li)

Comedian David Heti hosts a trio of travelling funnymen for a night of comedy at Burritoville with a line-up that includes L.A.’s Dave Waite and Toronto’s Dom Paré and Mike Rita. 2055 Bishop, 9:15 p.m., $5
