Nuit Blanche may be behind us, but one event that began last night continues all day today: 24 Hours of Vinyl, the annual music marathon, running till 9 p.m. Breakfast will be served this morning while DJs play soul and hip hop, and DJ Ghostbeard punk set this aftenoon and a closing dancefloor set by Tim Sweeney should be event highlights. Check out Elephant Song, a film directed Charles Binamé, starring Bruce Greenwood and Xavier Dolan. Greenwood and playwright Nicolas Billon are nominated for Best Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay, respectively, at the Canadian Screen Awards (airing on CBC tonight at 8 p.m.).
