It’s the last day of Puces POP! Yes, it’s the holiday edition of POP Montreal’s arts & crafts church-basement gift-o-rama. Église Saint-Denis (5075 Rivard), 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The indefatigable Bernie Gurberg’s Dollar Cinema has recently taken on the task of screening first-run independent and genre pictures — these “Marquee Spotlight” films cost $5 instead of the usual $2.50, but that’s still the cheapest movie ticket in town. A couple of Fantasia faves opened this weekend: Leigh Janiak’s Honeymoon and Gregg Araki’s White Bird in a Blizzard. 6900 Décarie Square, $5

La Vitrola hosts a triple album launch for Alexander MacSween , Quatuor d’Occasion and the Falaise, Forget & St-Onge trio, with support from more well known local instrumentalists, like Sam Shalabi and Martin Tétreault. 4602 St-Laurent, 4–10 p.m., $10

Passovah Productions’ annual holiday lovedown sets the stage for a whopping 21 indie rock, pop and electronic acts at Bar le Ritz PDB. 179 Jean-Talon W., PWYC, 5 p.m.–1 a.m., PWYC

Toast Dawg’s Christmas party is happening at Plateau watering hole Barraca Rhumerie & Tapas. 1134 Mont-Royal E., 10 p.m.
