Hot Sluts and Poutine

For the past month, BBAM! Gallery has been a canvas for Hot Sluts and Poutine (aka muralists-etc Lacey Jane and Layla Folkmann); read our Q&A with the artists here. See what they’ve done with the place at the exhibition’s finissage, feat. lots of adults-only art and music (on vinyl) by Spoon B/Barry Walsh. 3255 St-Jacques W., 6–10 p.m.

Pop Montreal’s two-day Pop Lafontaine series presents local bands Pawa Up First and Syngja. Théâtre de Verdure (Parc Lafontaine), 7:30 p.m., free

Mykki Blanco with Bongiovanni and DJ Tamika. PHI Centre (407 St-Pierre), 9 p.m., $15

There’s smutty comedy in store at Zoofest tonight, namely burlesque-comedy-mystery Bad Ladies and the Detective at Café Cléopatre (1230 St-Laurent, 10:30 p.m.), while Co-op Katacombes (1635 St-Laurent) hosts Cameryn Moore’s slut (r)evolution (see our interview here)  at 10 p.m. Both $23.67, tickets in advance only

Dance your ass away at Peopl., where Berlin’s Alex Niggemann and MTL’s own Thomas Von Party have the run of the decks. 390 Notre-Dame W., 10 p.m., $20/$25
