The first edition of Tacos & Tattoos is offering a deal that’s hard to beat: get a tattoo and a free taco. If either of those sound good to you, stop by Aire Commune where artists Boris Granche, Abby There, and Magali Moth of Enigma Tattoo will be offering tattoos, alongside a DJ set by Charles Cozy. 5705 Gaspé, 5 p.m., free 

Telepathic Lover is an art show featuring installations, painted, and printed works by artist JG at Citizen Vintage. The night will be co-hosted by Ellise Barbara, local performer and Cult’s April cover artist. 5330 St-Laurent,  6-9 p.m., free

Artgang Plaza hosts collective art show Girls in the Garage to celebrate local female artists working across multiple disciplines. Come for the vernissage and stay for the music, LEMONGRAB, Rose Bush, and N NAO are set to close off the night. 6524 St-Hubert, 7 p.m., $8/$10 door

VISIONS is a screening series that shows unique selection of experimental film works every month at La Lumiere Collective. This week’s program features the short films of London-based filmmaker Phillip Warnell. 7080 Alexandra #506, 8 p.m., $7

Local art rock act Jesuslesfilles launch their new, third LP Daniel at l’Escogriffe with openers Victime. 4461 St-Denis, 9 p.m., $10

A couple of months shy of the MUTEK festival, Stereo Bar hosts Nano MUTEK, a dance party welcoming German techno/electro DJ and producer Helena Hauff and English dub techno duo Space Afrika. 856 Ste-Catherine E., 11 p.m., $15
