Yamantaka // Sonic Titan

Bolting Bits teams up with the Village au Pied-du-Courant for a free evening of performances by Project Pablo, Iron Galaxy and Guilty, plus the Kim Sanh dance troupe and digital visuals by Hugues Clément, all at the foot of the Cartier bridge with food trucks and bars to keep you satisfied. 2100 Notre-Dame E., 5–11:30 p.m., free

Don’t miss tonight’s banger of a party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the SAT, featuring a Foodlab BBQ, a special performance of Entropia in the SATosphère, plus DJs Iron Galaxy, Poirier, Akufen, Vincent Lemieux and many more surprises. 1201 St-Laurent, from 5 p.m. $20/$15 in advance

Some of Montreal’s most fun artwork happens in alleyways, and this evening Art Cible hosts a special 5à7 Pop-Up vernissage in a Plateau ruelle featuring works by Sean Vadaru, Florence Jacob, Mélissa Bérubé and more. Alley between Hôtel-de-Ville and Laval, just south of Prince-Arthur, 5–7:30 p.m., free

Tonight at the Passovah music fest, the mighty Yamantaka // Sonic Titan play le Ritz with Jessica Moss, Lungbutter, Caro Diaro, Moss Lime and Adam Kinner. 179 Jean-Talon W., 7 p.m., $12/$15

As part of NDG Arts Week, check out NDG Off the Wall, a night of short film screenings under the stars, with selections from local artists and filmmakers. Girouard Park (Sherbrooke & Marcil), 8 p.m., free

If you missed last week’s sellout performance of Camp Wanapoke at the Montreal Improv Theatre, you can still catch the second (and final!) edition tonight, featuring an ensemble cast of improv experts closing out Montreal’s own hot, wet summer with opening sets by Danny Belair and Sehar Manji. 3697 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $8/free w/ Montreal Improv student card
