Figures from the local indie rock scene are breathing new life into Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar with Jesus Christ Superband live at Théâtre Sainte Catherine. 264 Ste-Catherine E., 8 p.m., $15/$18

It’s the third edition of At Street Level, “a quarterly poetry and music series with a contemporary urban focus,” featuring a stack of readings, music by She-Devils and Kid Aristides followed by a dance party by DJs Rollie and Maya Ignlis. Cabaret Playhouse (5656 Parc), 9:30 p.m., $5
