Citizen Vintage hosts a Valentine’s party that doubles as a vernissage for Love Me or Leave Me, a set of photographs and window installation by Ariana Molly. Onsite manicures by Trippy Nails and beats by DJs Pepulli Pulsum and Adam Heard. 5330 St-Laurent, 6–9 p.m., free

Live hip hop and soul jam le Cypher returns in a new downtown location, bringing the Urban Science band, DJs, bboy action and Caribbean grub from Boom J to le Bleury. 2109 Bleury, 8 p.m., $4

 

A few months after shutting down unexpectedly last year, downtown funny club Comedyworks rises again with a new owner and a few new amenities like indoor parking. Tonight’s grand re-opening (which continues through the weekend) boasts a lineup including Massimo, Morgan O’Shea, Scott Andrew Carter, Peter J. Radomski and more.
