Tap into the musical history of Little Burgundy via screenings of Oliver Jones in Africa and Begone Dull Care. Georges Vanier Cultural Centre (2450 Workman), 7 p.m., free

The PHI Centre presents 5 x PHI, curated by Pop Montreal. Five local bands were paired with five local filmmakers to conceive five musical shorts, now you can see the fruit of their labour, plus live performances. Purveyor of delicious donuts Chez Boris hosts a Russian Culture Night with food, vodka and music by DJ Boris. 5151 Parc, 8 p.m., no cover

Candyass Cabaret mounts a full line-up of burlesque acts in a Montreal Nights-themed edition of their monthly stage spectacle and party. Café Cléopatra (1230 St-Laurent), 10 p.m., $10

Local weird rock band Each Other play a pre-launch show for their new LP, Being Elastic. Openers are Brave Radar and Koko. Brasserie Beaubien (73 Beaubien E.), 10 p.m.
