MUSIC FOR UKRAINE

Sixteen Ukrainian, Polish, Lithuanian, and other East European artists from Montreal will play and sing traditional, folk, rock, ambient, classical and Klezmer music to raise funds for humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

The stellar lineup of 9 acts includes internationally acclaimed artists performing solo, in duos, trios and bands. 

• Serhiy Salov, a Ukrainian classical pianist;   • Mariusz Monczak & Steve Massicotte, Polish violinist & Québecois pianist; • The Bagg Street Klezmer Band, Jewish dance music; • Olga Cotilliar-Lemeshko, Ukrainian folk singer; • Vytautas Bucionis Jr., Lithuainian folk pianist; • Bosonizh, Ukrainian alternative rock band; • DaZoque!, East European quintet; • Norman Nawrocki, Ukrainian-Polish ‘scratch violinist.’

All proceeds will go to a Polish/Ukrainian border grassroots humanitarian aid group, Fundacja Folkowisko Foundation. They deliver medical equipment, food, clothing and essentials to people in Ukraine and provide temporary shelter, food, medical aid, transportation, counselling and more for refugees fleeing into Poland.  https://folkowisko.gorajec.info/
