Hosanna 3 (640x360)
Michel Tremblay’s Hosanna

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! See what Montreal’s Irish bars (and British pubs) have planned today and on Parade Day (Sunday, March 22) here.

An early set at Upstairs Jazz Bar will feature the music of hip hop collaborator and jazz pianist Robert Glasper (that’s him you hear on Kendrick Lamar’s new drop), as interpreted by the Robert Glasper Ensemble of McGill. 1254 Mackay, 5:30 p.m., free

Montreal indie pop duo Milk & Bone launch their record Little Mourning at the Phi Centre — please note that capacity is limited, but there is an adjacent theatre space in the venue where the spillover crowd can watch the event on a big screen. Phi Centre (407 St-Pierre), 6 p.m., free

See the English-language premiere of Michel Tremblay’s Hosanna, a play about Cleopatra impersonator Claude Lemieux’s struggles with identity and insecurity. The show, by Tableau d’Hote Theatre, runs through March 29. MainLine Theatre (3997 St-Laurent), 8 p.m., $20/$15 for students

Just Imagine, at Salon Daomé with DJs Alex Gragnani, M.A.B. and (birthday girl) Heidy P. 141 Mont-Royal E., 10 p.m.
