Don’t Look Now

The year’s major art event, La Biennale de Montréal, is coming to a close on Jan. 4, but you still have a chance to check out the works and there’s no better time than this evening, when curator Mark Lanctôt offers a guided tour of the exhibits at the MAC. The Beaux Dégâts art battle heats up again at Foufs, with six teams going head to head and music by Construct, Wally and Lentils. 87 Ste-Catherine E., 7 p.m., $5

The Cinémathèque is screening a newly restored print of Nicolas Roeg’s classic 1973 thriller Don’t Look Now, starring Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland. 335 de Maisonneuve E., 8:45 p.m., $10/9 students

Celebrate the legalization of skateboarding at Peace Park (details here) with a party/video launch at TRH-Bar, feat. music by DJ Redd Dredd. 3699 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free
