As part of Fierté Montreal Pride, a week of LGBT festivities that begins today and culminates in the annual parade on Sunday, highlights of the local (French-language) web series Féminin/Féminin will be screened, with director Chloé Robichaud and Lez Spread the Word president and founder Florence Gagnon in attendance for a discussion about the show. The alt-pride week, Pervers/Cité, screens the documentary Ruins: Chronicle of an HIV Witch Hunt, the story of the public vilification of 26 HIV-positive women in Athens by the right-wing Greek government in the lead-up to the 2012 election. The screening will be followed by a reception hosted by the Centre for Gender Advocacy with food, drinks and discussion. John Molson School of Business building (1450 Guy), 7 p.m.
