Happy Canada Day! If Montreal’s Canada Day activities are as mysterious to you as they are to most of us, here is the complete list of events happening throughout the day in the Old Port.

Poirier & Ghostbeard postponed last week’s all-day St-Jean-Baptiste Sud-West party to today due to inclimate weather, so head over to Terrasse St-Ambroise to celebrate province or country. 5080 St-Ambroise, 3–11 p.m., free

Chris Sandiford and Daniel Carin host a special edition of The Ladies & Gentlemen Comedy Show, with sets from Jacob Greco, Phil Campeau, Scott Andrew Carter and more. Shäika Café (5526 Sherbrooke W.), 9 p.m., free

Get a load of local hip hop group Alaclair Ensemble as they launch their new record Toute est impossible just in time for Canada Day (check out the hilarious cover art here). Cabaret du Mile End (5240 Parc), 10:30 p.m., $10
