Matmos meld and melt minds at Il Motore

The Cinémathèque québécoise screens local filmmaker Dominic Gagnon’s disturbing but fascinating RIP in Pieces America and Pieces and Love All to Hell, both collages of doomsday rants banned from YouTube. Formed in San Francisco in the ’90s, pioneering electronic duo Matmos (now based in Baltimore) are touring to preview their upcoming record The Marriage of True Minds, out Feb. 19 on Thrill Jockey.
