The Objet Inusité – Rencontre Internationale sur l’Art Audio conference begins today and continues through Dec. 22. Tonight’s workshop is a DIY Vinyl Press, and there will be performances by Darsha Hewitt, Jean-Pierre Gauthier and Keiko Uenishi, with installations by Peter Fleming, Lucas Abelas and Maxime de la Rochefoucauld. Eastern Bloc (7240 St-Urbain), 8 p.m., $10/night for performances, installations free 12-8 p.m.
