The Montreal March for Biodiversity and Human Rights will take place on Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.

The City of Montreal-sanctioned march, meeting at the Mount Royal statue, is a mobilization to encourage leaders at COP15 to adopt an ambitious global agreement.

On the first weekend during the COP15 biodiversity conference, a march will take place in Montreal to encourage the gathered leaders to adopt an ambitious global agreement on the issues at hand. The March for Biodiversity and Human Rights will begin at the Sir George-Étienne-Cartier monument on Mount Royal at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante, who will be attendance, shared a statement about the event.
