The inflation rate in Quebec increased to 6.8% in November

Quebec increased its minimum wage on May 1 by 5.5% to $14.25, which is still 1.3 points below the current rate of inflation.

According to the November update from the Institut de la statistique du Québec, the inflation rate in Quebec is 6.8%, up from October when the rate was 6.4%.

The inflation rate in Canada decreased from 6.9% to 6.8% over the same time period.
