Peruvian flag placed at Montreal City Hall to celebrate 200 years of independence

The Peruvian flag has been placed outside Montreal City Hall to honour the country’s national holiday, the Fiestas Patrias peruanas, celebrating 200 years of independence today from the Spanish Empire. Mayor Valérie Plante took the opportunity to wish the Peruvian community in Montreal a “beautiful national holiday.”
