Porchfest NDG brings musicians from the neighbourhood and beyond to balconies, alleys, porches (natch) and other unconventional outdoor stages for two days. Check out this year’s festival line-up and map of the impromptu stages here. NDG (various venues), 11 a.m.–5 p.m., free

Check out the Park Ex Film Fest, screening a collection of short films starring lots of familiar faces from the hood. 7290 Hutchison, 1–5 p.m., free

The second in what will be a series of pop-up events, the Secret Garden Market features local products, homemade food, art, and more. This edition also includes onsite Tarot card readings and tattoo artists and hair stylists. 185 Van Horne, 12–7 p.m., free

This years Wiggle Festival, the Annual Wearable Art and Performance Extravaganza, is taking over Never Apart to showcase the most innovative design from local artists and performers. Trans activist Candis Cayne will make an appearance at the annual variety show that has been pushing the boundaries of avant-garde headpieces and wearable design for over 20 years. 7049 St-Urbain, 7 p.m., $10–$15

The season’s first edition of OK LÀ, a series of monthly outdoor shows in Verdun’s Stationnement Ethel (a successful experiment that began last year), is happening this evening. On the bill are audiovisual duo Raha Raissnia and Panagiotis Mavridis, Warp Records/Numero Group artist Laraaji, Simon Trottier (Timber Timbre, Last Ex, Avec pas d’casque) and a DJ set by Alexandre Fontaine Rousseau. 4000 Éthel, 7 p.m., free

The Editorial Magazine is hosting a launch party for their 18th issue in collaboration with Phile magazine at Artgang Plaza. Montreal-based DJ Jerico, Odile Myrtil and Negative Gemini, are on tonight’s line up. 6524 St-Hubert, 10 p.m., $10
