As part of Montreal’s Black History Month celebrations, Paris-based illustrator Nicholle Kobi stops in Montreal on her Black Woman Art Series Tour, where the artist will be chatting with guests, participating in a Q&A and offering a pop-up boutique with prints, T’s, sweatshirts, totes, greeting cards and more items decorated with Kobi’s signature style. 4123 St-Denis, 11:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., free from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., $22–$42 for access to artist talk and VIP cocktail

Montreal’s roller derby league kicks off their new season tonight with a round robin featuring all three of the city’s teams, Les Contrabanditas, La Racaille and Les Filles du Roi, with plenty of Beau’s beer and a chance to win season passes and derby swag. Catch one of the final performances of Infinitheatre’s Conversion, a play written by Alyson Grant that delves into race, class, gender and religion, directed by Guy Sprung and starring Diana Fajrajsl, Timothy Hine, Mike Payette and Denise Watt.
