Works from over 50 international artists — including Yoko Ono, Martin Beck and Harun Farocki — are being presented in a major exhibition called Putting Rehearsals to the Test at three Montreal art galleries. Music collective/label Acte presents an evening of avant-garde music as part of Arsenal gallery’s Mardi Culturel TD event series. Expect live performances from Gabriel Ledoux and Simon Chioini with Félix Gourd, plus a DJ set by Nicolas Bernier, who also has an art installation on-site. 2020 William, 69 p.m., $5 (includes one drink)

The English Language Arts Network (ELAN) is holding its 12th annual general meeting and schmoozer, inviting the public to check it out and get involved (and schmooze). The event is taking place at the MAI Café. 3680 Jeanne-Mance, 6:30–10 p.m., free

The SAT’s Tuesday night outdoor film screening series teams up with FIFA for this evening’s double header for fashion lovers, presenting the documentaries Revealing Marie Saint-Pierre and Le testament d’Alexander McQueen. Come early to catch some tight skateboarding action as part of the skate community’s Peace Park takeover.
