It’s Nuit Blanche! Hundreds of activities from the early evening into the wee hours (and in some cases on to Sunday) are planned to go down at cultural spaces and gathering places of all kinds — see our recommendations for the best parties, art, music, gaming, film and food events here. As for where we’ll be, Cult MTL has once again teamed up with Phi Centre to present La Nuit Tribe (407 St-Pierre, 9 p.m., free), with music by the Gaslamp Killer, le Matos and Fred Everything, live art by Miss Me, food by the Tomahawk group and more.

Mile Ex cultural space Never Apart is hosting an afternoon open house where you’ll be able to check out the current exhibitions, including the Sun Room, the recently unveiled complement to the space’s Moon Room, created in collaboration with Adam Hummell (DJ A-Rock). Never Apart and Lightspeed founder Dax Dasilva will be giving a talk during the event based on his recent TED Talk “Igniting Your Secret Ingredients.” 7049 S-Urbain, open house 12–5 p.m., talk at 2 p.m., free

Streetwear enthusiasts take note: a weekend-long Sup Shop pop-up streetwear consignment shop is going on now, with brands like Supreme, Bape, Palace and Dime, plus kicks from Jordan, Nike, Asics and New Balance. If this weekend’s test run goes well, Montreal may see a permanent Sup Shop set up down the road. 5585 Parc, 12–9 p.m., free entry, continues through Sunday

A special Black History Month screening of Stanley Nelson’s 2015 documentary The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution will take place at Concordia’s D. B. Clarke Theatre. 1455 de Maisonneuve W., 7 p.m., $20/$15 in advance

Comics Jimmy LeChase (NYC) and Peter J Radomski (MTL) are wrapping their three-night co-headlining run at Comedyworks tonight. Come by early and check out special guests including up and coming NYC comic Zach Swan. 1238 Bishop, shows at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., $15/$10 for students

If you’re nostalgic for Electric Circus, or 1990s dance music in general, Notre Dame des Quilles might be the place to be tonight. 32 Beaubien E., 10 p.m., free
