Vintage sneaker lovers will want to head over to Artgang tonight for a one-night only exhibition called Shopsports: Anatomy of a Sneaker Store hosted in collaboration with the Sneakershigh. Head to Matahari Loft for the season’s first Art Battle, a night of competitive live painting, where 12 artists, including MC Baldassari, Abraham Garay and Veronica Dragnef, create new works in 20 minute rounds while the audience votes on their favourites and can place bids for the works in a silent auction. Montreal hip hop artist Narcy (aka the Narcicyst) and his group the Medium presents Narcinerama, a major show at Place des Arts wherein he’ll be playing his latest album World War Free Now with a pack of guest musicians from the local scene, plus opener Manu Militari.
