On Thursday, Feb. 26, la Tulipe was the scene of a multi-disciplinary arts showcase featuring a wide variety of exciting talent in Montreal’s visual arts, music, photography, make-up artistry, fashion and more.

With its homebase in L.A., the RAW Natural Born Artists showcase is part of a 60-city international network that gives local artists opportunities to present their work to new audiences in an atmosphere that’s more nightlife than sales floor, as well as chances to show their work in other network cities. Taking over the directorship of the Montreal events is artist Angelo Russo, whose first RAW showcase drew hundreds of enthusiastic attendees.

RAW showcases will take place every couple of months, with the next one scheduled for springtime. Artists who are interested in presenting their work at upcoming events can learn more at rawartists.org/montreal. ■
