Local musicians and filmmakers from around the country join forces for The Auroratone Project, a tribute to an obscure 1940s psychiatric film experiment, screening as part of Film POP. Film Box (Quartiers POP, 3450 St-Urbain, 3rd floor), 9 p.m., $8

Burlesque dancers and vaudevillians bring retro T&A to the Candyass Cabaret, with featured guest Velma Candyass. Café Cléopatre (1230 St-Laurent, 2nd floor), 10 p.m., $10

Celebrate Canadian indigenous art and culture at the 11th Annual Pow Wow, an afternoon of throat singing, traditional dance and a ceremony to reward leaders in the community. A Tribe Called Red will also give a workshop and performance. Lower Field, McGill University. Afterparty, featuring A Tribe Called Red and co-sponsored by Pop, Église Pop Little Burgundy (5035 St-Dominique), 11 p.m., $7

Head to the vernissage for O F F LOVE FAN ART BEDROOM, an installation in the style of a teenager’s bedroom, plastered with contributors’ poster art. Quartier Pop (3450 St-Urbain), 6 p.m., free
