Temple of Boom

It’s day two of Falla, the three-day music/performance fest at the TOHU circus space in the north east of the city. Tonight, hear music by Poirier, Boogat, Syncop, Jenny Salgado and DJ Elmo, and breathtaking displays of breakdancing and parkour. 2345 Jarry E., 5 p.m.

The vernissage for Qouleur, the art exhibit component of the arts fest for queer people of colour, happens tonight at Rats 9. Belgo Building (372 Ste-Catherine W.), #530, 6 p.m., free

Tattoo shop Ink City North, which is ironically as downtown as you can get, presents Temple of Boom, an event uniting vintage boomboxes and art. 15 de la Commune W., 6 p.m., free

Check out the vernissage for some new work by Todd Stewart at Galerie Wilder & Davis. These new pieces are small, lighter and more abstract. 257 Rache E., 7 p.m., free

NDQ hosts the launch for the Vivarium Project, with Crémant Impérial, Donzelle and When Harry Met Salope. Notre Dame des Quilles (32 Beaubien E.), 9 p.m., free

Montreal Pride’s all-girls party Crush, featuring DJ Mini and DJ Mariana Morales, happens at Club Soda. 1225 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $20. And their official Boys Party, featuring DJ Cactus, happens at Apollon. 1450 Ste-Catherine E., 10 p.m., $6
