Rebecca Foon of Saltland, opening for Moonface at Il Motore

The Lundi Grindhouse series of vintage trashy flicks launches its May tribute to dearly departed Italian schlockmeister Jess Franco tonight. The retrospective starts with a bang (excuse the pun), with The Female Vampire (aka Insatiable Lust), screening in its hardcore version (oh, and in German only, but it’s not like you’re there for the dialogue). Rockette Bar (4479 St-Denis), 6 p.m., free

Old Port resto l’Orignal launches Industry Family Night, a weekly offering of chef Dan Geltner’s table d’hôte or, for oyster buffs, a Shucker’s Dozen ($35) or Mike’s Dirty Dozen ($40), along with special summer cocktails. 479 St-Alexis, 6 p.m.–3 a.m., reserve a table at 514-303-0479

Wolf Parader turned piano man Spencer Krug takes the stage at Il Motore once again, playing solo as Moonface. The openers are Saltland, the band feat. Rebecca Foon, who just opened for Colin Stetson on Saturday. (In last week’s Hammer of the Mods, Johnson Cummins raved about their new record. Read that here.) 179 Jean-Talon W., 9 p.m., $18

There’s even more music on offer at Notre Dame des Quilles, where Lesly Ann & Marc St. Louis’s You Want It! You Got It! (10 p.m.) proposes “pawp, rawk, digi -kumbia, wrap, power BALLADS & smooth rides,” while Décadence Electronique at Casa (9 p.m.) has “minimal synth and a mixed bag of wavey electronics and unexpected modulations” care of DJ László. NDQ: 32 Beaubien E., Casa: 4873 St-Laurent, both free
