Manon Massé: “The curfew is especially hard on victims of domestic violence and the homeless”

“The same people always pay the highest price.”

After last night’s announcement about the return of a curfew and other restrictions being implemented to deal with the pandemic in Quebec, Québec Solidaire spokesperson Manon Massé made a statement expressing concern for victims of domestic violence, the homeless and large families who live in small spaces.

“The curfew doesn’t affect everyone the same way. Women who are victims of domestic violence, homeless people or large families living in small apartments will find it especially hard. The same people always pay the highest price. Let us remain united.”
