This month’s edition of Bazar Vintage du Plateau takes place today at Mile End’s Église St-Enfant-Jésus with over 40 vendors offering all manner of vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, décor, kitchenware, toys, records and more. 5037 St-Dominique, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., free

As part of Montreal Sketchfest, a team of Montreal and Toronto sketch comics take part in tonight’s Sketch Republic Broadcasting Corporation, a satirical sketch comedy show at Théàtre Ste-Catherine with a newscast format featuring special guest anchors, Nelu Handa and Emma Overton—both of whom are well known for their work with The Beaverton among other credits. 264 Ste-Catherine E., 7 p.m., $12

Catch local stand-ups in take-down mode at the second edition of Roast Battles MTL, hosted by Shirley Whalen, judged by Christopher Venditto (and special guests) and featuring local comics such as Tranna Wintour, Shawn Stenhouse and Emma Wilkie.
