Best of MTL 2018: Media

Little has changed in our local broadcast landscape since 2017, at least as far as your radio and TV favourites are concerned. CJLO’s profile has risen, however (as has their social media campaigning for this poll), edging out CHOM for the #2 Best Radio Station and Pancake Party making its Best of MTL debut as #3 Best Radio Show. As the artier of the two English universities in town, it only makes sense that Concordia’s station join McGill’s mighty CKUT (which remains the St-Viateur Bagel of college airwaves).

In print, Concordia’s The Link and Québecor’s Journal de Montréal arrive in the Best Magazine and Newspaper Top 5s, while Pornhub* and Eater Montreal replace MTL Blog and Reddit Montreal in Best Website, proving that our readers recognize the Internet’s primary purposes: porn and food porn. (Thanks to our readers for once again crowning us #1 in all three of these categories.)
