Best of MTL 2018: Food & Drink

We’re happy to see that our readers pay attention to reviews by our food editor J.P. Karwacki as all your Best New Restaurant choices are spots he’s critiqued recently. (LOV made the list last year but we’re fine with a repeat appearance given their expansion since then.)

As usual, Mile End institutions and old favourites reign supreme across the Food & Drink section, from the famous café Olimpico to high-end Greek seafood specialists Milos to Korean spot Omma. That said, Joe Beef, its affiliate Vin Papillon and other renowned restaurants dotting Little Burgundy and Griffintown take their righteous places here, as do the Top 5 Best Ramen restaurants, most of them appearing in the poll for the first time in this new category.

And congrats to Dépanneur le Pick Up, who — after years of campaigning — have finally beaten Dagwoods in Best Sandwich.
