Head to Hochelaga’s Bain Mathieu for day two of the weekend-long Kapara Vintage sale, where the vintage boutique based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu will be on hand with tons of second-hand goodies for women and men alongside local artisan vendors all day long, with all vintage items priced between $2 and $20. 2915 Ontario E., 11 a.m.–7 p.m., free

If you want to avoid the madness of today’s St-Paddy’s Day parade downtown, head in the opposite direction to Ahuntsic’s Aréna Michel-Normandin to catch the Montreal Canadiennes play the Markham Thunder in Game 3 of the CWHL Playoffs. 850 Émile-Journault, 2:30 p.m., $20

Montreal Improv hosts a night of stand-up, sketch and improv comedy plus a Q&A with Kevin McDonald of the awesome Canadian comedy troupe of the ’90s, the Kids in the Hall. 3697 St-Laurent, shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., $15

Montreal indie rockers Plants and Animals are marking the 10th anniversary of their debut LP Parc Avenue with a series of three shows this weekend, playing the entire album in sequence with different openers every night. Tickets remain for the third and final show tonight, where the opener is Jesse MacCormack. (See our review of Friday’s show here.) Le Ministère (4521 St-Laurent), 9 p.m., $20

If you missed DJ Matthew Dear’s opening set for MGMT last night at MTELUS, you can catch him tonight in a much more intimate setting as he takes over Datcha’s RAWmoments Sunday, with support from Pat Boogie & the Housiders. 98 Laurier W., 11 p.m., $10
