Star Wars Day (“May the 4th be with you”) is being marked locally with two events: A screening of the latest installment in the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Mademoiselle, with pizza and popcorn — this is a fundraiser for the House of Laureen en route to the Fringe Festival this summer (5171 Parc, doors 7 p.m., film 8 p.m., $12), and a comedy night at Théâtre Sainte Catherine featuring six local comics and DJ John Lee (264 Ste-Catherine E., 9 p.m., $10).

For more (young) Harrison Ford on the big screen, Dollar Cinema is continuing their series of nostalgia screenings with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc. 6900 Decarie, 7 p.m., $5

Local rap/R&B duo Heartstreets launch a new EP, You & I, with a 5à7 listening party and live performance at École Privée. 1 Milton W., 5 p.m.

Montreal band Thin Blue Line, feat. familiar faces from the local music scene — including alumni from the Stills, Chinatown, Statue Park, Bonjour Brumaire, Lights Off and Erik Lind & the Orchard — launch their debut LP, News From What We Once Thought, with openers Silver Dapple.
