After her Bell Centre show on Thursday night, Madonna dropped in on the third edition of Naïve Melodie, the monthly party series spearheaded by Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Régine Chassagne (as well as party promoters DL Jones and Herve K) to benefit Haiti charity organization Kanpe.

Previous editions of Naïve Melodie took place at Salsathèque (see our pics from the first edition here) but this one went down at the Phi Centre, where party people amassed hours before Madonna’s arrival (just before 2 a.m.) to dance and drink and speculate about the “VERY special guest” who was going to grace the DJ console. The nonchalant arrival of Diplo — the night after his Mad Decent House Party at Sousbois — didn’t quell the crowd’s anticipation of a bigger star, and when the Material Dame finally appeared on stage and picked up a cowbell, she turned the place upside down.
