Montreal band the Muscadettes — who were on the cover of the April issue of Cult MTL — are playing a record release show at Casa del Popolo tonight, with opener Nancy Pants. Another local band is launching their debut EP tonight: Thin Blue Line, an instrumental indie rock band featuring members of Statue Park, Chinatown, Bonjour Brumaire etc. They’ll be playing with Human Human and Year of Glad, and selling 100 limited edition copies of their EP on CD. Miss Devon Eve Behelak selects the deep house, ’80s electro, R&B and downtempo jams at A Night Over Egypt at Mile End’s Bar Kabinet. 92 Laurier W., 8 p.m.
