The Lost Cabaret pays tribute to French Grand Guignol horror theatre in the first of its two-show fundraiser for Montreal’s Scapegoat Carnivale Theatre. Get your dose of alt with British duo Ultimate Painting (feat. members of Veronica Falls and Mazes), with locals Sheer Agony and Alex Calder. Bar le Ritz PDB (179 Jean-Talon W.), 9:30 p.m., $8/$10

Pardon us for stating the obvious, but dancing is great way to spend a Saturday night. Datcha’s dancefloor beckons with Lost Heroes. 98 Laurier W., 11 p.m.
