For the eighth edition of Dazibao art centre’s Sessions series, Esther Bourdages will present artifacts and analysis on the visual representation of music as encoded in the musical staff and the graphic score, followed by a performance. 5455 de Gaspé #109, 7 p.m., free

Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s classic 1991 film Delicatessen screens at the Phi Centre (in its original French, no subtitles) as part of the Elle Québec fait son cinéma series.
