It’s the final day of the OldWIG vintage sale, Xmas edition, featuring a wide range of clothing, accessories and tchotchkes for sale, and a soundtrack by DJ Simahlak. Bain Mathieu (2915 Ontario E.), 12–5 p.m.

Le Cinéclub / The Film Society pays homage to the recently deceased Alain Resnais with a screening of his seminal 1961 film Last Year at Marienbad, starring Delphine Seyrig. The screening is followed by the premiere of Thierry Loa’s short film 20-22. Cinéma deSève (1400 de Maisonneuve W.), 6:30 p.m., $8/$6 students/seniors)

The RIDM film festival wraps today with The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness, a documentary about Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki, the man behind Studio Ghibli and classic films including as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Burgundy Lion’s fourth annual Tender-Off challenges teams of local bartenders to earn the most tips in an allotted time and donate a chunk of change to prostate cancer research via Movember.
