CONTEST: See rising electro-pop act RAC tomorrow night

We’ve got 5 pairs of tickets to see RAC (aka André Allen Anjos) at the Corona Theatre. Music and contest details inside.

RAC

RAC, which stands for Remix Artist Collective, is responsible for hundreds of remixes for artists ranging from U2 and Lady Gaga to Radiohead and Chromeo. But now RAC is a forum for the music of André Allen Anjos, a solo producer and musician born in Portugal and based in Portland. Listen to his single “Let Go” (feat. Bloc Party singer Kele and MNDR) here:

You can hear more tracks from RAC’s new album, Stranger (which features vocals by Tegan & Sara, Tokyo Police Club, St. Lucia, Peter Bjorn & John’s Peter Morén, YACHT & more), here.

But check this out: RAC is playing the Corona Theatre (2490 Notre-Dame W.) tomorrow night, Thursday, March 27, and we’ve got 5 pairs of tickets to give away, courtesy of Evenko.

To win, simply write to info@cultmontreal.com before 5 p.m. today with RAC in the subject line. Your creative challenge is to come up with a different acronym for R-A-C (that is not “Remix Artist Collective”), one that’s clever, funny or otherwise interesting. Vulgarity will be accepted.

Good luck!
