Concordia’s SIPA Short Works theatre fest offers 20–40-minute-long productions created entirely by undergrads. The seventh annual A Varning From Montreal festival of dark, heavy music brings over a dozen bands from Sweden, New York, Ontario and our own city to Katacombes, right through Sunday. Tonight’s line-up features Criminal Damage, Kremlin, Nuclear Spring, Life Chain, Agitator, SexFace and WhiskeyShits. 1635 St-Laurent, 7 p.m., $18/$20 or $52 for a weekend pass
