Osheaga! Yes, el grande music festival is sold out, but if you don’t have tickets and want to feel better about the whole thing, Azealia Banks cancelled today’s set, and Frank Ocean cancelled tomorrow. AND the weather looks dodgy today. But on the flipside, for fellow ticket-holders out there, this is going to be fucking SICK. For a list of our favourite under-the-radar acts, look here, and for a taste of what to expect at the site, read our interview with Evenko here. See you @ Ile Ste-Hélène, mothafackas! Parc Jean Drapeau, 1–11 p.m.

See New Brow: Contemporary Underground Art, a film documenting the emergence of low-brow/street art influenced by cartoons, rock and skate culture. See more details about this screening and exhibit here. Cinéma du Parc (3575 Parc), 5:30 p.m., $8.50–$11.50

The Ethical Butcher author Berlin Reed is speaking about food politics and “thoughtful eating.” Librairie Drawn & Quarterly (211 Bernard W.), 7 p.m., free

Festival Mode et Design presents a fall fashion runway preview, Play, with Random Recipe providing the catwalk’s live score. Scène de l’Esplanade (Cathcart and McGill College), 10 p.m., free

You can head to Cabaret Playhouse for Femmes Fatales: Pride Edition a dual fundraiser for local charities Rock Camp for Girls Montreal and Head & Hands with tunes provided by DJ Milton Clark. 5656 Parc, 10 p.m.

Even if you didn’t get into Osheaga (or maybe especially if you didn’t, and your energy’s still high), tonight’s afterparty looks like a winner: brilliant showman and indie/electro-pop dude Rich Aucoin covers Daft Punk. Corona Theatre (2490 Notre-Dame W.), 11:30 p.m., $17
