Our streets are full of your garbage

Here’s what some of our blocks looked like on moving day as we merrily packed our trucks and left our old couches, bed frames and other junk on the corner.

July 1 means a lot of things—well, maybe two—but to Quebecers, it’s moving day. As a result, Montreal’s streets were strewn with the junk that accumulates in apartments over the years but doesn’t make it to anyone’s next dwelling. Here’s what some of our blocks looked like over the course of the afternoon, as we merrily packed our trucks and left our old couches, bed frames and other crap in any available space.
