SAT’s Foodlab has planned a German Weinfête, with Riesling tastings by Vinnovation, a German-themed menu of veal schnitzel, fresh pretzels and apple tart, and music by DJ Dressner le DJ Steef, with assists from DJs Auslese, Zev Rovine and LZ. More details here. 1201 St-Laurent, 5 p.m.–3 a.m.

Award-winning Ecuadorean drama Pescador (Fisherman) screens at the FCLM festival of Latin-American cinema. Cinéma du Parc (3575 Parc), 7 p.m., $12
