The Man With the Iron Fists, screening at Cinéma du Parc

In The End of Time, documentary filmmaker Peter Mettler’s tackles the mysteries of time with a scenic world view of raves, Hawaiian volcanoes, Hindu funerals and decrepit residential streets of Detroit. Ex-Centris (3536 St-Laurent), 3:30 p.m., $9.75

Winter will be here for at least another couple months, so you may as well embrace it. Go ice skating at the Old Port! You can pretend you’re all Swan Lake-y — Monday nights as of 7 p.m. are dedicated to classical music (schedule here). Clock Tower Quay, 10 a.m.–9 p.m., $6 for adults

Indulge your love for the local music scene by tuning in to CKUT 90.3 FM’s Underground Sounds. 8–10 p.m.

Have a drink at the Main’s chillest lounge, Laïka, and listen to the savvy selections of DJ Brace. 4040 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., free entry

If Django Unchained has left you hungry for more ultraviolent retro-exploitation, drop by Cinéma du Parc this week to catch kung-fu pastiche The Man With the Iron Fists, executive produced by ol’ QT and directed by the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. 3575 Parc, 9:30 p.m., $11.50
