Quilt, opening for the Fresh & Onlys at Casa

Solomiya Moroz and Ali El-Darsa present Standing Still, a vernissage and performance piece combining video and sound installations to capture the spirit of Griffintown, inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities. Fonderie Darling (745 Ottawa), 7 p.m., $5-$10

One of our faves so far at RIDM, Charles Bradley: Soul of America, a doc on a long-struggling soul singer, has its second screening tonight. Cinémathèque Québécoise (335 Maisonneuve E.), 7:30 p.m.

Catch a solid slate of hardcore acts as Hoax, Slobs, Pregnancy Scares, Hounds of Hate and Vanishing Point play an early weekday show. Death Church (ask a friend where), 8-11 p.m.

Another awesome choice for Monday night fun: San Francisco garage rockers the Fresh & Onlys and Boston psych-folk unit Quilt. (Check our Twitter today to win a pair of tickets!) Casa del Popolo (4873 St-Laurent), 8:30 p.m., $12/$14
