The GOAL Black & White Soirée charity dinner is happening at Cartier Arms on May 5

Friday, May 5 , 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The GOAL Initiatives Foundation is excited to announce its first-ever charity dinner, The GOAL Black & White Soirée, set to take place on May 5, 2023, from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Restaurant Cartier Arms, in Old Montreal. The event will showcase the theme The Power of the Ball, celebrating how every kick, header and save can change the lives of young people through sports, physical activity, and community.

“We’re thrilled to be putting on our first ever GOAL Black & White Soirée charity dinner. The theme of Power of the Ball means a lot to me. It means equality and opportunity for all no matter your background. The power of the ball gives us the opportunity to come together, for one cause, and equal opportunity not only on the pitch but in life, uniting us the way football unites communities.”

—GOAL founder Paul Desbaillets

The soirée will be a notable evening filled with surprises, featuring honorary guests such as Soccer Hall of Fame’s Amy Walsh and Senator Tony Loffreda, along with opening remarks by football legend Patrice Bernier. Attendees will enjoy a unique performance by Celina Wolfe, a live DJ, and an open bar throughout the evening.

Art lovers will be captivated by the Honorary Community Awards and artwork by Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist “Uplifted by Meve,” who unlocks the beauty and potential in vintage, discarded, and rejected items, breathing new life into the forgotten with a touch of pop-culture.

Guests can indulge in a delectable dinner menu featuring cavatelli, the Cartier Arms mouthwatering smash burger, beef roast, and dessert. The evening made possible in part by incredible sponsors like evenko, Quincaillerie Notre-Dame, and Restaurant Cartier Arms. The event will benefit Heart Shaped Hands, Grassroot Soccer, Soccer Quebec, Fondation Patrice Bernier, and DeRo Foundation.

The GOAL Initiatives Foundation invites you to dress to impress and add your own footy flair for this unforgettable evening. The ball is in your court – purchase your tickets now on eventbrite.
