Imago Theatre presents the world premiere of the Prairie Theatre Exchange digital production, with Ice River Films:

SPACE GIRL

Lyra is a social media star and the first person born on the Moon. Now she must save Earth and her 1 billion followers from certain destruction.

This cosmic comedy explores colonialism and how we use the power granted to us in the spaces we access: whether that be cyberspace, outer space or the space we occupy on the Earth’s land and waters.

Both March 23 and 24 include:

At 12PM there pre-show landback conversation will touch upon the responsibilities of settlers/guests to this land. We will discuss how to resist the colonial “authority” of institutions as well as what going beyond land acknowledgments can look like: how do we give back stolen land?

After the 6PM show there will be a Talkback with the creative team of Space Girl.
