Scratch Takes Studio Launch Party

Scratch Takes would like to extend a cordial invitation to the launch party for our new space on Friday, October 16th! A little about us – Scratch Takes Studios, founded by musician and McGill digital media instructor John Castillo Oruezabal, is a local multimedia production company specialising in high-quality audio and video recordings of both live and pre-recorded music and events. We have been operating on a freelance basis since our start nearly 5 years ago, and having a physical studio space to operate in is a huge step for us! This new studio is located in a spacious, historic former bank building on a vibrant Lachine street. The launch party itself will feature beer, wine, schmoozing with local musicians and industry professionals, and local Montréal jazz fusion band The Liquor Store. As per COVID capacity restrictions, there will be two separate events, each with their own vibe: for a more refined, sophisticated crowd: 6-8pm; and for the more lively and bold: 8:30-10:30pm.
